Zijn vader, Jetset du Chatelain, behaalde in 2022 de 8ᵉ plaats bij de driejarige hengsten op het Nationaal PFS, met 5 foutloze parcours van de 6, gevolgd door een foutloos parcours en 4 strafpunten in de finale. In 2023 werd hij 15ᵉ bij de 4-jarigen D met het predicaat "Zeer Goed". Zijn moeder, Helline d'Alba, waarvan Obiwan het eerste veulen is, heeft nog geen beoordeelde nakomelingen. "Met drie mooie gangen, een groot meewerkend karakter en absoluut geen angst, heeft Obiwan alles in zich om een geweldig wedstrijdpony te worden, zowel voor springen als eventing."
